We have added a new member to the family, Copper Stump. He is a Beagle puppy and we bought him for Katherine. She named him within seconds of getting him!
I also had a wonderful time in Jonesboro this weekend. It makes me miss home so much! I have wonderful friends back home that I have remained very close with. I miss my family and wish I could be there every Sunday to go to church and then have lunch together. However, J.D. is in college here and we have in state tuition here. It benefits us more to stay at this time.
Also, I'm not sure Jonesboro is any place I want to raise my daughter. The best thing that has ever happened to me was leaving this town. People are worried too much about what other people think. I contribute a very successful marriage to the fact that we don't live there as well. J.D. and I have each other and only each other - no parents, friends butting into our lives and we are each other's best friend.
However, I still miss the people that I love!! I wish I could just transplant them all here! I like living here and for the time being I know this is home. We'll see what God has planned for us later, b/c ultimately it's all in his hands.
